Infective causes of tubal disease

A
  • Pelvic inflammatory disease (Chlamydia, gonorrhoea, syphilis, TB)
  • Transperitoneal spread (Appendicitis, intra-abdominal abscess)
  • Infection following procedures (IUCD, hysteroscopy, HSG)
