Jesus-Father- Holy Spirit - “I will ask the Father and He will give you the Holy Spirit” (John 14:16-17)

Distinguish between Jesus as “begotten not made” and the Holy Spirit as proceeding from the Father and Son.

Begotten = Generation of the person of Jesus from the essence of God (the Son eternally exisits)

Proceeding = From the Father & the Son (H.S. eternally exists)

Mormons - every becomes a god

Unitarians - all roads lead to God

Jehovah Witnesses - deny trinity; they beleive Jesus was created
