Give us a brief explanation of the Scriptural teaching on the gifts of the Spirit.
The gifts are given to members of God’s body so that the body can fully function.
- Spiritual Gifts (wisdom, faith, healing, miraculous powers, prophecy) 1 Corinthians 12
- Romans 12: Prophecy, teaching, leadership

How would you differentiate between the fruit of the Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit?
Fruit: Given to all beleivers as character qualities that reflect Christ being formed in you (Gal. 5:22)
Gifts: Are selectively given to believers for the benefit of others to build up the body of Christ (1 Cor. 12)

What does Scripture teach concerning the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the filling with the Holy Spirit?
- Filling is conditional (upon our surrender & our ASKING) Eph. 5
- Baptism is once for all at conversion. 1 Cor. 12:13 (baptized), Eph. 1 (sealed)
