paridoxical chest wall movement caused by free floating rips
s/s of flail chest
crepitus, dyspnea, cyanosis, pain
tx of flail chest
pain meds, o2, maybe intubation
grey turner sign
bruising of umblicious and flank area–beware of kidney injury
bladder pressure levels
normal 0-5,elevated 5-10, intrabdominal HTN 10-20, anything over 20 is compartment syndrome
kehrs sign-
referred shoulder pain–seen in spleen injury
CT of pulmonary emboli looks like
patchy ground glass
