A production method used to make a specific quantity (a batch) of identical products. Templates, jigs and moulds are often used to make sure products within a batch are identical. Batch production can be used to manufacture a load of one product and then a load of something a bit different. Prototypes are used for batch

A

A production method used to produce a large number of identical products on an assembly line. The different stages of production are broken down into simple repetitive tasks. An example is newspapers, magazines and cars
