Investigated whether young offenders differed in their moral development compared to non-offenders

126 convicted male offenders aged between 12 and 21

332 non-offenders aged 13 to 22 (210 females, 122 males)

Obtained through schools and a Uni in West Midlands

What were the findings from the SRM-SF?
Found the male offenders had least mature moral reasoning (pre-conventional level)
