Controlling Mount

Isolating Levers from Mount

Technical Mount
uke bridges, bring my weight forward to prevent frames, switch to tech mount, grounded knee against his hip with live toes, try to “connect” heel to grounded knee, hands post above his head, drive hip bone forward for pressure; options: 1. take the back or 2. grip his free elbow and go back to mount
Windshield Wiper
uke prevents tech mount, press his face with my chest, windshield wiper, take his back
Spin Behind Top
uke’s in fetal position, place one hand on head to break posture, the other on his rib, side of my head pressed against shoulder, one knee ground with live toes, leg near his head bases out, step free leg around his head, one knee on each side of his head, remove hand from his head and other hand from his ribs, head hand goes to other side of his body, back step to ssc,
Top Control
keep feet wedge between the ground and his thigh, ankle should cup under his thigh, place forearm under his neck, push his face to the side with my shoulder, 1. he underhooks my free arm –> swim it free, 2. overhooks –> swim it free, 3. pushes my knee –> monkey grip his forearm and push my knee down, 4. bridges to the left –> lift his leg up and displace my weight to the opposite hip
Cross Collar to Americana
create wedged feet so that he can’t bridge effectively, place left hand into his collar to threaten cross collar, uke grabs my hand, push his right hand to the ground with my right hand, grip his hand, place right elbow on ground next to his head, push elbow into head to break posture, go for americana, no, pin his left arm with my right leg, lift him up, go for americana again, sub chain
SS Arm Lock S Mount 1
place forearm under his head, threaten with a punch choke with my left fist, he lifts his right elbow to stop the pressure while maintain punch choke, pull his head up, bring right leg into the S mount position, my left arm hooks his right arm to threaten an armbar, he does the classic defense, swim my left arm under his left forearm, create a gable grip at his elbow, pinch his elbow into my stomach with my gable grip, use my left bicep to push his wrist away from me, this creates something like an americana lock
SS Arm Lock S Mount 2
