Side Control Frame Escape 1
Situation: uke just passed my guard, I’m in the iron squirrel position, pins my hips with his right arm and right knee,
Problem: he’s immobilizing my hips by creating wedges with his right elbow and right knee
Solution: bridge into him (not upward), his right elbow comes off the ground, hip escape while maintaining the iron squirrel frame, push his right arm toward him, put left foot on right shoulder, then put my right foot on his right hip
Side Control Frame Escape 2 (inversion)
uke just passed my guard, I’m in the iron squirrel position, pins my hips with his right arm and right knee, bridge into him, his right elbow comes off the ground, hip escape while maintaining the iron squirrel frame, no, switch my feet around, invert by posting my right knee to the ground, his arm lifts off the ground, right hand frames his right knee, hip escape, reset guard
Side Side Control Escape
grip his left bicep with a straight frame, sit up on my right elbow by doing a teeter totter with my left leg, uke recomposes his base going backwards, shrimp, reset guard
Side Side Control Escape 2 (inversion)
grip his left bicep with a straight frame, uke positions head to prevent me from tt to my elbow, bring right elbow to the ground, maintain left arm frame against his bicep, right hand frames against his right knee, invert, drop back into guard
SC Lever Escape
uke collapses top frame, triangle frame (place right hand on my head) to prevent cross face, protrude left elbow under his arm pit, right knee ready to bump him forward, knee bump and drive left elbow back, this allows me to scoot down, then simultaneously grab his right ankle, lift it up, knee curl around it, go to quarter guard
Elbow Push 1
I have iron squirrel frame, uke keeps trying to collapse my crossface frame, transfer crossface frame to my right elbow by redirecting his arm around my head, make x with my hands, my left hand blocks his biceps and then helps to push his elbow away from me, right hand grabs his left elbow, hold his elbow in the air, teetertotter to base with my left elbow, hip out backwards, reset guard
Elbow Push 2
I have iron squirrel frame, uke keeps trying to collapse my crossface frame, transfer crossface frame to my right elbow by redirecting his arm around my head, make x with my hands, my left hand blocks his biceps and then helps to push his elbow away from me, right hand grabs his left elbow, hold his elbow in the air, teetertotter to base with my left elbow, uke “air guitars” out, follow up with an underhook escape,
Elbow Push 3
I have iron squirrel frame, uke keeps trying to collapse my crossface frame, transfer crossface frame to my right elbow by redirecting his arm around my head, make x with my hands, my left hand blocks his biceps and then helps to push his elbow away from me, right hand grabs his left elbow, hold his elbow in the air, teetertotter to base with my left elbow, he stays stiff, do a full reversal
Belly Down 1
oompa, get to side, kick stand, reach left hand out towards the ground, cup his leg with my right hand, use elbow to get to my knees, wrap left arm around him, circle around him while pushing forward
Belly Down 2
Uke prevents belly down by blocking shoulder, hook his arm, and roll him over me
Crossface Escape 1
free my right arm, cup his shoulder, frame on his neck with my left forearm, left forearm should be parallel with my torso
