What type of feedback is the thyroid hormone release in mechanism

A

Negative feedback, TSH is released from hypothalamus to anterior pituitary, TSH is released to the thyroid gland and causes the release of T3 + T4. These inhibit the secretion of TSH. (Affects both pituitary gland and hypothalamus)
