Knowledge - May be the expert who designed the legacy inventory management system that is being replaced;

Rights - may be concerend that the new development will endanger the community;

Rights - Government official may be responsible for ensuring safety practices on construction site comply;

Interest - Community may be concerned that additional traffic will occur

Contribution - resource manager may be concerned the team members they are providing will not be able to do their normal work plus the project work

A

In addition to analyzing each stakeholder’s impact and influence, the PM will need to identify ways to manage them effectively. Groups stakeholders into categories to allow PM determine how to prioritize their efforts to engage stakeholders on the project

What does plan stakeholder engagement involve?

A

Developing a stakeholder engagement plan and think head about how the project will impact stakeholders. Allows the PM to effectively manage relationships with large amounts of people. Involves planning how the PM and project team will interact with stakeholders, and involve them, and manage their expectations and how they will keep them satisfied to ensure stakeholders are an asset to the project.

The PM will need to determine which stakeholders will require the most time and effort. PM must think about the stakeholder roles, and their environment, and the specific needs of the project.
