Q

What is the learning and phobia theory? Watson and rayner

A

Watson and Rayner investigated origins of phobias. They suspect that phobias are learned early through a process called conditioning. Taught a young kid to be afraid of rats and when he reached for the rat they would bang metal together making a loud noise, this will associate the rat with the noise and then the kid will have a phobia of the rat.
