A scientific law is a theory that has been tested by and is consistent with generations of data.
What is an experimental variable?
An experimental variable is an aspect of an experiment that changes during the course of the experiment.
What is a counter-example?
A counter-example is an example that goes against a conclusion.
What is the control of an experiment?
The control of an experiment is the part to which all others will be compared.
What are blind studies?
Blind studies are experiments in which the participants don’t know whether or not they are in the control group.
What are double-blind studies?
Double-blind studies are experiments in which neither the participants nor the people analyzing the data know who is in the control group.
What is subjective data?
Subjective data is data that depends to some extent on the opinions of the people analyzing it.
What is objective data?
Objective data is data that cannot be affected by opinions.
