Produces semen

Doughnut-shaped just below the neck of the bladder
Adds fluid into semen to increase sperm mobility

Contain ova or eggs
Secrete female hormones “estrogen and progesterone”
Fallopian tube
Transports the released ovum to the uterus
One attached to each side of the uterus

Hollow, muscular organ located mid-pelvis
Main part is the fundus
Tissue lining is the endometrium
Vagina
Muscular canal leading from the cervix to the outside
External Genitalia
Collectively called the “vulva”

Begins at puberty, generally between the ages of 9 and 17
