What is the paschal mystery?
A
The events of Jesus’ death, resurrection and ascension to Heaven which save people from sin.

Where does the idea of “mystery” come from?
A
Jesus’ disciples, who were hus cloest followeres, doubted he could have risen from the dead. The act of resurrection defies human understanding of how the world works.

- Death - Jesus was sentences o=to death by crucifixion and died on the cross for salvation.
- Resurrection - Jesus was raised from the dead and came back to life three days after his crucifixion.
- Ascension - Jesus rose to Heaven after his resurrection.
