Note: 「まるで〜」 (“as if ___”; “completely ___”) is usually written in hiragana. In keeping with its particular
purposes, this series is moderately biased in favor of using optional kanji once you have learned them. This bias is
especially pronounced for recently introduced kanji, which require frequent reinforcement. Over the course of the Series,
「まるで〜」 will mostly appear in hiragana
