What was separation?
Ghettoes and deporting Jews- separating them from society
What was extermination?
Killing Jews in extermination camps
What were the 6 death camps?
Chelmno, Bełzec, Auschwitz, Majdanek, Treldinka and Sobibor
What happened when the camps were liberated?
Allies were shocked by conditions and treatment
Many Jews died after liberation from eating too much food or from weakness/exhaustion
Many survivors moved to Israel

Military trials that prosecuted Nazis for war crimes
Who was Oskar Schindler?
A member of the Nazi party who owned factories and employed Jews to save them from concentration camps

Survivors recieved compensation from the government
