The concept of a nation which led to the creation of many independent nations
What is imperialism?
The control of countries or territories by foreign powers
What is urbanisation?
An increase in the proportion of people living in urban areas compared to rural areas
What is democracy?
A system of government by the whole population of a state by electing representatives
What is capitalism?
An economic system that relies on the private ownership of industry and the means of production
