What tests do you do for FAI & Labral tear
FADIR & anterior and posterior labral tear
Note: anterior tests for anterior-superior impingement, anterior labral tear or iliopsoas tendinitis
Posterior tests for posterior labral tear, anterior hip instability or posterior-inferior impingement.
What tests do you do for sacroiliac joint dysfunction?
FABER & Cluster of Laslett
What tests do you do for Gluteal tendinopathy
Adduction test, greater trochanter palpation and single leg stance
What tests do you do for ITB tightness?
Ober’s (positive if unable to adduct to horizontal position)
What test do you do for rectus femoris contracture?
Ely’s test - patient spontaneously flexes the hip upon maximal knee flexion
What test do you do for hamstring tear/tightness?
Test positive patient cannot go further than 30 degrees of knee extension
