Alexandria
A city, named after Alexander the Great, that became a center of commerce and Hellenistic civilization.
Euclid
A highly regarded mathematician and astronomer who taught in Alexandria. Hid best know book, Elements, presented geometry propositions and proofs.
Archimedes
A Hellenistic scientist who studied at Alexandria and accurately estimated the value of pi and explained the law of the lever.
Colossus of Rhodes
The largest known Hellenistic statue. It was a bronze statue and stood more than 100 feet tall.

Two philosophies that taught about the harmony of people.
