It was a Roman Bronze Plaque that was created during the 1st Century BC/AD.

Who and what was on the plaque?
A
Achilles, his mother (Thetis), Chiron and the river of Styx (which flows to the underworld)

What was happening in the source?
A
The right side of the plaque shows his mother handing him to Chiron when Achilles was a baby.
The middle part of the plaque shows him being dipped in the water of the river Styx. Wherever the water touches you makes you invulnerable in that area. (She was grasping on his ankle to do this, so it was the only part of him that was vulnerable - the original Achilles’ heel). This is where Paris shot him.
