what happens to the blood flow on the right side of the heart
A
- deoxygenated blood from all parts of the body is carried to the right side of the heart
- the right side of the heart pumps the deoxygenated blood to the lungs
- in the lungs, blood removes carbon dioxide and picks up oxygen

what happens to the blood flow on the left side of the heart
A
- oxygenated blood from all parts of the body is carried to the left side of the heart
- the left side of the heart pumps blood rich in oxygen to the rest of the body
- on its way to the body , the blood loses oxygen and picks up carbon dioxide
