june 17, 1775, part of siege of boston, the british charge up 3 times and finally win because we ran out of ammo, we retreat, massive casualties, bloodiest battle in the revolutionary war

henry knox - lets walk to a fort that’s 300 miles away to get cannons and drag them to boston - it works, the british get scared and go to canada and george gets boston

winter quarters : take a break over winter
washington doesn’t want to lose his troops since their time is almost up, he goes to attack trenton, december 26th 1776, hessian camp controls trenton so washington attacked when they were all drunk, big moral boost - troops want to sign back up and stay
