UNFREEZING, reducing maintaining the status quo
MOVING, and developing new behaviours
REFREEZING, building reinforcement to make sure the organization doesn’t slide back into old ways

a change process in which employees formulate and implement change that’s required
Occupational orientation
the theory that there are 6 basic personal orientations that determine the sorts of careers to which people are drawn
Psychological contract
an unwritten agreement that identifies each party’s mutual expectations (treating people fairly)
Life trajectory
a person designs and builds their career simultaneously. Increasing the importance of ensuring that employees are empowered decision makers
Portfolio careers
using one skill to acquire short term gigs or jobs (used lots by gen z now)
Developmental job rotation
a management development technique that involves moving a trainee from department to department to help broaden their understanding
In house development centres
a company-based method that combines classroom learning with other techniques, like assessment centres
