peripheral lung tumors well differentiated and contain mucin highly aggressive small cell carcinomas hyperplastic neuroendo cells carcinoids
bronchoalveolar carcinoma
do not produce effusion
not related to asbestos exposure
benign mesothelioma - pleural tumor
nasty cancer
related to asbestos exposure
lesions are diffuse
extensive pleural effusion
malignant mesothelioma - pleural tumor
