MTFA

A

Control & NILO provide info to crews.
May direct crews to safe RVP or Marshalling Area or SHA

If known or suspected ballistic or explosive threat then resources directed away by Police.

Duty NILO will liaise with Police to discuss location of RVP.

Key info to supply if crews involved in MTFA;
1/ Number and location of attacker
2/Description of weapons
3/ Description of attackers and info on victims.

Crews only committed once ballistic threat diminished and JUR between all 3 Emergency services completed.

Some defensive FF maybe undertaken e.g MPS fire arms unit place ground monitors in hazard area.
