• If BA team sustained loss of comms with ECO then TL decide if withdraw.
• If comms & telemetry list BA team must withdraw to point where comms works. Landmark for repeaters.
• If unexpected or sustained comms failure with any team, then person responsible for ECP decide whether to commit ET. Any doubt then do it.
• ECO must notify person responsible for the ECP that a BA emergency exists before committing ET
• Transmit on channel 5 if leaky feeders in use.
