A
- Up to Control to state FSG not fire ground.
- All deemed persons reported by control.
- IC will determine when all persons accounted for.
- IC decide how to prioritise calls, directing resources to greatest risk.

• FSG element;
CU (for FSG), SM (for FSGS), PL with WM (for FSGP)
Once additional appliances ordered all call slips will show ‘FSG in progress at this incident’.

FSG coordinator
Search coordinator.
A
FSG coordinator;
- SM min.
- As soon as resources allow.
- Collate and retain FSG info & actions
- First action speak to control to get latest FSG info. Names of caller may be passed by telephone.
- IC brief must detail limits of authority and comms lines.
Search coordinator;
- Info & updates must be passed to them.
- their priorities and allocation of resources will be affected by FSG dev/ outcome.
- they will keep FSG coordinator informed of search results.

Advice to callers
A
In exceptional circumstances IC May consider informing control that their advice should be altered. Liaison with officer of watch will be required for agreement.
