Q

Which are the 2 ways in which we can look for oneness and differentness?

A
  • Entity wise one or different:
by looking for oneness or differentness in going towards the object (entities)ངོ་བོ།
  • Isolate wise one or different:
by looking for oneness or differentness in going towards the subject (isolates) སྡོག་པ
    —————————————-

Diffrent examples:
Entity wise same: cover of book and book

Entity wise different: guitare and a car

Isolate wise one: blue color

Entity wise different and Isolate wise different: pen and book

Entity wise one and Isolate wise different: moon and moonlight, flower and color of flower

Entity wise one and Isolate wise one: book and book

!!!!!!!!
What is entity wise different has necessarily to be isolate wise different.

The relationship between the parts and the whole is always entity wise one and isolate wise different.

Product (f.ex.:flower is the product of a seed) and impermanence are entity wise one but they are isolate-wise different.

Q

Give examples of physical subtle form which is not revealed to the sense conciousness and state who accepts this.

A

Taking vows, attaining samadhi, refraining from the state of ordinariness for the Arhat or Aryas = refraining from different physical forces, …

It is accepted as physical form by Vaibhasika and Prasangika only.

(The sense sources go in form of imprint into next life and in the next life they manifest again as a physical subtle form)

==> Sautrantika, Cittamatra and Svatrantika do not accept it as fully defined physical form
