- Can Preform functional tests at full speed without limping or favoring site
3.Must be physiologically prepared to return to play
KT Tape:
-helps with edema and swelling
-has 140% stretch
Do not twist tape,
Tear it!
Tape overlap,
1/2 the width
wrinkles in tape cause:
blisters and cuts
Tape ankle to protect:
ATFL (anterior tibiofibular ligament), PTFL (posterior talofibular ligament) , 5th metatarsal, lateral malleolus
Strongest Ligament in Body is:
Deltoid Ligament (in ankle)
Start with anchor strip,
end with anchor strip
