What is a radar “shadow” and how do you avoid it

A

An area of weather so intense that the radar cannot penetrate it to paint though which creates a black shadow behind the weather.

Push the RCT button which will paint the shadow blue for awareness.

A

1) Come on during an electrical emergency
2) Powered by 4 dedicated battery packs charged off the ESS bus
3) 15 mins to charge and last 15 mins when activated.

Photo Illuminated, needs 15 mins of ambient lighting to charge.
