What is systemic lupus?
An autoimmune disorder where the body attacks itself, causing reddening of the skin, and organ damage

Butterfly rash, Raynaud’s phenomenon, fatigue, weight loss, myalgia, pulmonary hypertension

Antinuclear antibodies

Fatigue, joint pain, fuzzy head
What are triggers of SLE?
Sunlight, stress, virus, sex hormones, drugs

What is a safe way to reduce fatigue in SLE?
Aerobic exercise
What is the spoon theory in SLE?
Patients only have around 12 spoons a day and exercise should take into consideration the rest of the day
