The connection between two neurones.

The nerve signal is transferred by chemicals which move across the gap.

Change stimulus energy into electrical energy.

Describe the pathway taken by the nerve impulse in a blink reflex.
A
The nerve impulse passes to the sensory neurone and then to the central nervous system and then to the motor neurone and then to the effector (the eyelid muscle).
