Sternocleidomastoid
sternal head: anterior manubrium;
clavicular head: medial surface of clavicle
lateral surface of mastoid process and lateral portion of superior nuchal line
complex: acting bilaterally, flexes cervical
vertebral column anteriorly or, when supine, raises head; acting unilaterally, tilts head towards ipsi- lateral shoulder and rotates head so that chin faces
the opposite side

ramus
Trapezius
spinous processes of T1-12 thoracic vertebrae & lig. nuchae, external occipital pro- tuberance & sup. nuchal line
lateral clavicle, acromion, and spine of scapula
bends head & neck postero-laterally/ scapular elevation and rotation
Spinal XI and C3 & 4 ventral rami
