Hi doctor I gave birth to my son about a week ago and originally there were no problems but I’ve noticed that he has a soft lump underneath his belly button. When I push the lump it feels like something goes back inside. Do i need to do something about this like strap it down?
Just keep an eye on it for now, do not strap it down.
If you notice your son starts vomiting or you cant push the lump back in take your child to A&E.

no by this age we would expect a hernia to have healed itself so I will refer you to see a surgeon

My 9 year old son is still wetting the bed. We’ve tried reducing his drinks before bed. We tried making a reward chart but that didnt work. We also tried that special alarm. Please is there anything that you can do?
Yes of course, there is a medication called desmopressin which should help lower how much wee he makes. We can try this for a month and monitor him.
