Left foot forward – decreased ankle DF,
Knee flexion.
Weak concentric HS, tight / overactive soleus
Slightly abducted as compared
to hip joint – wide base of support
Weak HIP adductors concentrically / weak IR hip concentrically , tight
overactive hip abductors or ER.
Fair ant pelvic tilt, adequate trunk flexion
and hip flexion. No anterior knee translation
on the left.
Weak eccentric quads, weak DF
concentrically
Hip and Knee extension. Noted lack of hip
extension on the left about -5 degrees.
Left Weak inner range quad HS co-contraction to control
final knee alignment.
Left knee hyperextends on all attempts extension happens quickly in standing cycle
Left Weak inner range quad HS co-contraction to control
final knee alignment.
TRUNK ROTATED TO THE RIGHT TO
COMPENSATE FOR HIP RETRACTION / HYPEREXTENSION
- IR of hip joint (in toeing)
Left Tight overactive gastroc . weak eccentric DF to slow / control movement.
weight to right
Left Tight overactive gastroc . weak eccentric DF to slow /
control movement.
Sitting down= NO evident right knee
translation hip / trunk flexion fair on right
lacks control on left.. Drops back into sitting
not controlling the final 20 degrees of knee
flexion.
Sitting down - Weak eccentric quads on left, weak hip ext eccentrically on left. Weak DF on left
