What is stress?
A physiological response to some type of environmental event that is subjectively appraised as being taxing or even exceeding one’s ability to adapt.
How can stress manifest as?
Thoughts, emotions, somatic (rash, headache) behaviors (overeating)
What is a Type A personality?
Competitive, time urgent, hostile and aggressive
What is a Type B personality?
Relaxed, patient, easy going

Agression and hostility
How does stress impact physical health?
Raises blood pressure etc.
What is the General Adaptation Syndrome, and what happens at each stage?
Stage 1/Alarm, Stage 2/Resistance, and Stage/3 Exhaustion
What is the relationship between stress/arousal and performance (Yerkes-Dodson Law)?
A moderate level of stress will help you in some activities.

Depends on the person, and how difficult you think the challenge is.
How can mindset help manage stress?
