what is a stakeholder?
someone with an interest in a business as they can affect or be affected by it
owner
if business is successful will receive more profit
these owners fund the business
shareholders
interested in making a profit to increase dividends
directors
want business to succeed to gain more of a salary
employees
are interested in job security for wages they also are interested in receiving a good pay in good working conditions
pressure groups
example: trade unions
its interest is for employees to be treated fairly with good pay and good working conditions
managers
if business is succeeding means the business is making profit giving good salary and pay to employees
lenders
they are interested in business success as lenders want to ensure the loan is repaid that they lent the business to get set up to get their money back
community
it creates employment in the area but become concerned for noise and air pollution and lack of parking due to the business
consumers
they are interested in quality , services , variety of products and getting a value for money so businesses need to provide their wants and needs
producers
they secure contracts by building good relationships
they provide business with raw matierals or goods they may need
