Define stakeholders
Any group or individual with an interest in the change or its outcome. Their interest can be both active or passive.
Why is it crucial to have stakeholder support?
Without support from the stakeholders you will only deliver a capability and not change how the organisation works.
What are the three principles of identifying and segmenting stakehilders?
- You can forget stakeholders but they won’t forget you
- Identification is a continuous process, new stakeholders emerge and old ones fade away
- Prioritsing and segmenting stakeholders is a moment in time. Regulary re-prioritise.

- Seek first to understand, and then be understood

Use of social stereotypes. Caricatures can develop that misrepresent the stakeholder group.
