Bending the rules to gain an unfiar advantage
i.e. Golfer coughing to distract opponent

Having no intention of breaking the rules or causing harm to others

Actions that have a detrimental effect on the sport

- More money can mean better pay for coaching and training programmes
- More money to pay for technological advantageous equipment and facilities
- More competitors raises the standard of competition nationally and increases a national team’s profile internationally

- Women’s teams and players are paid less than men because the media focuses on men which creates gender inequality
