What examples are there of contractual issues with sponsors?
Oakley tried to take Rory McIlroy to court for changing his kit sponsor to Nike without allowing Oakley the first right of refusal.
What examples are there of contractual issues with employers?
Jean-Marc Bosman was the catalyst for the ruling in 1995 by the European court of justice to introduce the Bosman Ruling for football players.
What examples are there of referee negligence ?
Ben Smoldon sued the referee for not maintaining his duty of care and an opposition player for deliberately collapsing the scrum in a total of 1 million pounds compensation.
What is negligence from officials or coaches?
Conduct that leads to a breach of the duty of care, which results in foreseeable harm to another.
What is a duty of care?
A legal obligation imposed on someone if they are responsible for a group of people.

Legal and ethical responsibilities to educate their subjects to refrain from drug taking and show them legal supplements and nutrition information.

Measures must be taken to ensure that participants are safe in an activity.
