Q

What is the tidal volume

A

1.500ml in and out
2.Amount of volume moving in and out when rest breathing

Q

What is Forceful breathing

A
  1. After breathing in (TVI) there is a forcefull breath in which is known as the inspiratory reserve volume (2800)
  2. After breathing out in (TVE) there is a forceful breath out which is known as the expiratory reserve volume(1200)

Q

What is the inspiratory and expiratory capacity

A
  1. The inspiratory is the total volume of air breathed in so TVI+ IRV
  2. The expiratory is the total volume of air breathed out so TVE+ ERV
