How quickly do symptoms start
gradually
How does intermittent neurogenic claudication present? what type of stenosis causes it
Lumbar central spinal
Lower back pain
Buttock and leg pain
Leg weakness
Occurs when standing and walking and symptoms improved by bending forward
Absent at rest and when seated
What can intermittent neurogenic claudication be confused for? How would you different between the two?
Peripheral arterial disease
Doesn’t have back pain
ABPI would be normal with INC
What are surgical treatment options
Decompression surgery
Laminectomy
