The function of the sperm is to provide half of the genetic material to form a fertilized zygote or embryo with an egg
Egg Function
Generates offspring with a sperm cell
T Cells Function
Help protect the body from infection and help fight cancer
White Blood Cell Function
Help the body fight different diseases and infection
Neurons/Nerve Cells Function
A specialized cell that transmits messages to and from the brain and spinal cord
Skin Cell Function
They protect the body, regulate temperature, sense touch, produce vitamin D, and help heal wounds
Muscle Cell Function
Specialised cells that can contract and relax for movement
B Cell Function
White blood cells that produce antibodies to fight bacteria and viruses
Epithelial Cell Function
Skin cells that cover the outside of the body and line the internal surfaces of organs
Fat Cell Function
Cells that store energy for use between meals
