    (volume of blood pumped/ heart beat both decrease)
    - HR slow
    - blood vessels harden
  3. integumentary
    - thinner, more fragile
  4. brain
    - decreased size, and therefore more space for blood to fill inside the skull.
  5. skeletal.
    - individuals become weaker, more susceptible to fractures and injuries.
