A method of training for runners where the terain and speed is constantly training
What is circuit training
A series of exercises completed for a certain amount of time/reps, after one another

Physical training involving alternating stages of high and low - intensity activity
What is plyometrics training
Exercises where muscles use maximum amount of force in short intrrvals of time
What is weight training
Involves shifting weight to increase the strength of the muscle using a programme for exercises

-can include rest periods or be continouse

-there may not be suitable terrain nearby
-difficult for coach to monitor
