85% from 35- to 60-year-old vines and 15% from 20-year-old vines. Grapes dried for two to four weeks in the shade for partial raisination, then fermented with native yeast in barrel for about 12 months. Unfined and unfiltered. Non-vintage, first release in 2014.

Crop is reduced by half on the vines, then left to dry until late in the season, with little botrytis impact, if any. Late-harvest grapes are blended with fresh and aged in a combination of 50% new French oak, Hungarian oak, and French Acacia, with three years on the lees before racking, blending, and an additional six months in tank before bottling. Inaugural vintage 1986.
