- Vehicle backer shall be used when available and placed where they can be clearly seen by the driver.
- Vehicle operator shall roll down their window and remove hearing protection
- If at any time the vehicle operator loses sight of the backer the vehicle shall stop until visual contact is reacquired
- If a vehicle backer is not available the vehicle operator shall walk completely around the vehicle to ensure there are no obstructions
