ulcer formation, hypernatremia ( too much sodium in the body)
hypokalemia ( low potassium level)

adult & pediatric… 1-2mg/kg IV
up to 2mg/kg/dose for status asthmatics/anaphylaxis
Max dose- 60 mg/24 hrs
