What is privilege when it comes to social groups?
Privileged groups establish the societal norms and standards by which other groups
are judged
What is privilege?
a certain entitlement granted by the state or other authority to a restricted group by birth or on another conditional basis
What is right?
an inherent irrevocable entitlement held by all from the moment of birth
What is social exclusion?
a lack or denial of resources, rights, good and services and inability to participate in the usual relations and activities available
What is intersectionality?
explains how multiple social identities and systems of oppression interact to create unique experiences of discrimination and privilege
