What are the 6 methods of training?
Continuous, Fartlek, Circuit, Interval, Plyometric, Weight
What to take into consideration when choosing a mwthod of training?
Specificity, individual needs and facilities near you.
What is continuous training?
Working the entire body for a long period of time without a rest.
What is fartlek?
A method of training for runners where the terain and speed are constantly changing.
What is circuit training?
A series of excersises for a certain amount of time/reps after one another.
What component of fitness does continuous training enhance?
Cardiovascular endurance.
What component of fitness does fartlek training enhance?
Cardiovascular fitness.
What component of fitness does circuit training enhance?
Muscular endurance/strength, cardiovascular fitness, flexibility, co-ordination, reaction time.
What is interval training?
Physical training involving alternating stages of high and low-intesity activities.

Excersises where muscles use maximum force in short intervals of time.
